Ingredients

  • 1 lb Tahong with shells (Mussels)
  • 2 stalks bok choy
  • 1 pc. large chayote (sayote), peeled and sliced diagonally
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tbsps sliced ginger
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsps patis (fish sauce)
  • 2-3 tbsps cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 stalk fresh spring onions for garnish (optional)
